Ingredients
Scale
- 1 package of egg roll wrappers
- 1/2 cup of finely chopped cabbage
- 1/2 cup of finely chopped carrots
- 1/4 cup of finely chopped onions
- 1/2 cup of ground pork or other filling of your choice
- 2 cloves of garlic, minced
- 1 tablespoon of soy sauce
- 1 tablespoon of olive oil
Instructions
- Prepare the filling: In a large mixing bowl, combine the shredded chicken, shredded cabbage, carrots, bean sprouts, and green onions.
- Season the filling: Add the soy sauce, oyster sauce, sesame oil, garlic powder, ginger powder, salt, and pepper to the mixture. Toss everything together until the filling is evenly coated with the sauce and seasonings.
- Prepare the wrappers: Lay out an egg roll wrapper on a flat surface. Spoon about 2 tablespoons of the filling into the center of each wrapper.
- Roll the egg rolls: Fold the sides of the wrapper inward, then tightly roll it up, sealing the edge with a little water or egg wash to hold it together.
- Preheat the air fryer: Preheat your air fryer to 375°F (190°C) for about 3-5 minutes.
- Cook the egg rolls: Lightly spray the egg rolls with olive oil spray to help them crisp up. Place them in a single layer in the air fryer basket. Air fry at 375°F for 8-10 minutes, turning halfway through, until golden brown and crispy.
- Serve: Remove the egg rolls from the air fryer and serve immediately with your favorite dipping sauces, such as sweet and sour, soy sauce, or hot mustard.
Notes
You can freeze the uncooked egg rolls for up to 3 months. When ready to cook, just add a few extra minutes to the air frying time.
