  • Yield: 1 serving 1x

Description

Looking for a quick dessert to satisfy your sweet tooth? This Oreo Mug Cake is the perfect treat! Made with just a few simple ingredients and ready in under 5 minutes, it’s soft, gooey, and full of chocolatey goodness. Perfect for a late-night snack or a fun dessert when you’re short on time. No baking required—just a microwave and a mug!

Ingredients

Scale
  • 4 Oreo cookies
  • 1/4 cup of milk (dairy or plant-based)
  • 1/4 teaspoon baking powder
  • 1 tablespoon sugar (optional)
  • Vanilla ice cream or whipped cream (optional, for topping)

Instructions

  • Crush the Oreos: Place 4 Oreo cookies into a microwave-safe mug and crush them into fine crumbs using the back of a spoon.
  • Add Milk: Pour in 1/4 cup of milk and mix until you get a smooth, thick batter with no large chunks of Oreo.
  • Stir in Baking Powder: Add 1/4 teaspoon of baking powder to the mixture and stir well to combine.
  • Microwave: Microwave the mug on high for 1 to 1.5 minutes, or until the cake rises and looks set. The cake should puff up with a spongy texture.
  • Serve: Let it cool for a minute, then top with vanilla ice cream, whipped cream, or a drizzle of chocolate syrup if desired.

Notes

Be sure not to overcook the mug cake as it can become rubbery. Start with 1 minute and check the texture before adding extra time.
